Maintenance Scheduler/Planner Location: Laverton Meltshop (Laverton North, Victoria, Australia) InfraBuild is seeking a Maintenance Scheduler/Planner to join our Laverton Meltshop team. The role focuses on improving equipment reliability, planning maintenance activities, and supporting site performance and safety goals. Key Responsibilities Plan and schedule preventive and corrective maintenance activities for the meltshop. Lead and coordinate maintenance plans for down days and shutdowns. Support safety leadership and promote a “Goal Zero” culture. Track and analyze equipment performance to identify recurring issues and improvement opportunities. Manage spare parts, materials, and contractor resources to ensure smooth execution of maintenance work. Use SAP and other systems to plan, record, and report on maintenance activities. Assist in developing strategies that enhance reliability, safety, and cost efficiency. Qualifications & Skills Mechanical trade qualifications or an engineering background. Experience in maintenance planning/scheduling within heavy industry, manufacturing, or mining. Strong computer skills, ideally with SAP or another CMMS. Knowledge of maintenance standards, shutdown coordination, and contractor management. Excellent communication and organizational skills. A proactive approach to safety and continuous improvement.
