To support this, we are seeking an experienced and strategic Deputy Treasurer to join our high-performing Finance team. This is a rare opportunity to play a pivotal role in the execution of Melbourne Airport’s financing strategy, ensuring the organisation is market-ready to fund its ambitious growth agenda. The Role Reporting to the Treasurer, the Deputy Treasurer is a senior leadership role responsible for: Leading APAC’s funding strategy and execution, including debt management and refinancing activities. Building and managing relationships with banks, ratings agencies, debt investors, and internal senior stakeholders. Preparing high-quality Board papers, investor materials, and governance reporting. Overseeing financial risk management, liquidity, and long-term planning. Coaching and developing the Treasury team, fostering a culture of capability and collaboration. You will play a key role in maintaining APAC’s credit ratings, ensuring strong investor engagement, and upholding Treasury policy and governance requirements. This role offers both strategic influence and hands‑on execution in a complex, dynamic environment.
