About the role We are seeking an experienced Production Manager to join our dynamic team at Cosmetic Manufacturers. In this key role, you will be responsible for overseeing the efficient and effective operation of our production facility in Helensvale, Queensland. As a full-time position, you will play a vital part in ensuring the timely and high-quality manufacture of our wide range of cosmetic and therapeutic topical products. What you will be doing · Responsible for manufacturing, packaging, warehousing and maintenance · Ensure timely execution of production plans · Accountability for safety, quality, and environmental compliance across the site · Lead, motivate and develop team members to enhance performance/productivity and foster a safe, inclusive, collaborative and supportive culture · Maintain quality standards to ensure compliance with TGA, FDA etc and assist Quality Manager with external audits · Drive continuous process improvement initiatives across all departments to improve overall operational performance · Source, install and commission new equipment · Ongoing maintenance of all equipment on site and perform basic repairs · Equipment fault finding and repairs · Maintain appropriate levels of critical spares What we are looking for · Previous experience in process plant operations, ideally within cosmetic, pharmaceutical or other FMCG business. Should you have other experience that would complement our facility we would welcome your resume · Experience working within a TGA or FDA regulated environment · Strong understanding of safety with the ability to identify risks and implement controls · High level of mechanical aptitude and competent at basic equipment repairs · Thorough understanding of the sitewide maintenance requirements for a manufacturing business · Excellent communication, planning, and organizational skills · Strong problem-solving skills · Previous contractor management experience · Proficient in the use of MS suite What we offer At Cosmetic Manufacturers, we are dedicated to providing a supportive and rewarding work environment for our employees.
