The Role As a skilled Landscape Tradesman and Operator, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of landscaping tasks, ensuring the efficient use of machinery and tools to meet high standards of quality and safety. You will play a key role in delivering exceptional results on our landscaping projects. Your Every Day Operate heavy machinery such as excavators, loaders, and skid steers for various landscaping tasks. Perform landscape construction duties, including grading, drainage, paving, and planting. Collaborate with team members and follow instructions to complete both softscape and hardscape projects. Ensure all tasks are completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with industry standards. Carry out maintenance and inspections of machinery and tools to ensure they are in good working condition. Assist in diagnosing and solving site issues, including drainage problems, soil conditions, and plant health. Maintain accurate records and report work progress to the Site Manager or Supervisor. Skills & Attributes Certificate III in Landscape Construction, Parks and Gardens, or Horticulture (desirable). Construction White Card (mandatory). Relevant operator certifications (e.g., for excavators, skid steers). 3+ years in landscape construction or a similar trade, with strong operating experience on civil landscaping projects. Excellent problem‑solving skills and the ability to adapt to different site conditions. Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high‑quality work.
