We are committed to delivering high-quality, flavour-rich meals that reflect true Indian culinary traditions. About the Role We are looking for a full-time Cook with strong experience in Indian cuisine, including curries, snacks, breads, sweets, and thali preparation. The successful applicant will be responsible for preparing and cooking a wide range of vegetarian dishes in accordance with our menu and quality standards. Key Responsibilities Prepare, cook, and present Indian vegetarian dishes as per restaurant standards Manage food preparation, portioning, seasoning, and cooking methods used in Indian cuisine Maintain kitchen hygiene and food safety standards at all times Assist in menu planning, special items, and seasonal offerings Monitor stock levels, assist with ordering, and ensure minimal wastage Follow standard recipes and ensure consistency in taste and presentation Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service during peak hours Maintain cleanliness of work areas, equipment, and utensils Ensure compliance with health, safety, and food-handling requirements Skills & Experience Required Minimum 2 years full-time experience as a Cook in an Indian restaurant or similar establishment Strong knowledge of Indian vegetarian cuisine, spices, ingredients, and traditional cooking techniques Ability to work in a fast-paced commercial kitchen environment Understanding of food safety and kitchen hygiene requirements Ability to work independently and as part of a team Good time-management and communication skills Qualifications Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent experience is desirable (but not mandatory if skills gained through work experience) How to Apply Please submit your CV outlining your experience and suitability for the role.
