Clearance Broker – FedEx Australia Join FedEx Australia as a Clearance Broker. You will collaborate closely with customers, government agencies, and internal teams to facilitate efficient customs clearance operations and maintain regulatory compliance. Responsibilities Handle end‑to‑end customs clearance processes for import and export shipments, ensuring compliance with local and international regulations. Review customs documentation, classify goods according to customs regulations, and determine duty rates and tax liabilities. Resolve customs‑related issues and provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer inquiries and proactively resolving any clearance issues. Collaborate closely with government agencies, regulatory bodies, and internal teams for efficient and timely clearance. Qualifications Secondary education or equivalent. At least three (3) years of work experience in customs broking. Approved Diploma of Customs Broking, or an earlier equivalent accredited customs course in accordance with Australian Border Force requirements. Strong knowledge of customs regulations, procedures and trade compliance. Proficient in customs software and online customs portal. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office & PC. Strong interpersonal and problem‑solving skills. Proven expertise in planning and organizing, with a strong accuracy and attention to detail.
