Swim Instructor/Coach Needed About Us Marlins Swim School is an independent privately owned and operated Swim School that has been operating for 30 years in the Mackay region.
Located in the popular Northern Beaches with our Indoor Heated facility.
All our teachers are fully qualified AustSwim teachers that are dedicated to ensuring each child has the opportunity to learn the life-saving skill of swimming.
Role.
Developing and implementing training programs that focus on improving technique, stroke placement, speed, and style.
Attending all competition meets with the squads  Recording training data to analyse strokes, techniques, and monitor progress.  Setting training goals and objectives and motivating teams as well as individual swimmers.  Provide ongoing instruction to casual swimming assistants to improve practices.
  Using a range of activities to improve water confidence.  Enacting safety and risk management processes including ensuring that pool and training area is free of hazards and that supervision of all pool-based activities is maintained About you Ability to work weekends and school holidays Have a Teacher of Swimming and Water Safety qualification.  You're passionate about water safety and know that learning to swim should be an enjoyable, informative, and constructive experience for students.
Enjoy working with children and their guardians You bring a genuine passion for the successful progression of students within the learn to swim program, ensuring our students are instructed at the highest level.
Salary Guide The role is a full time permanent position with a salary range of $72k to $85K
