City Discount Tyres Osborne Park – Balcatta WA Job Type: Permanent position | Full time position Pay: From A$80,000.00 per year + (salary will be negotiated as per your work experience in the same industry) Requirements 1–2 years of experience in tyre repair/Car service store and 2–5 years of retail sales experience Good knowledge of auto parts, tyres, wheels & suspension Excellent communication skills, people person, understanding customers’ requirements and always ready to help them Core duties to perform: Advise customers concerning tyre, brake, suspension, exhaust and battery problems and make appropriate recommendations and upsell accordingly Perform general service work, charge tyres and tubes, making repairs Perform wheel alignments as required Answer telephones, serve customers and promote sales of tyres, wheels, mechanical repair and services Assist in performing end‑of‑day balances and reconciliations Drop off and pick up customers’ vehicles Assist in ordering stock and enter invoices for both suppliers and customers Assist in managing stock and staff, prioritizing jobs to ensure smooth and efficient operation of the business Perform a full tyre stock take once per month; advise Head Manager/Owner of any discrepancies and assist updating store software if required Assist in training and mentoring of staff Plant and equipment maintenance and care Maintain standards of cleanliness, orderliness and appearance of shop and work areas Maintain health and safety criteria for staff & customers Assist in coordinating lunch breaks to ensure staff coverage Apply now if interested #J-18808-Ljbffr
