AI Support Analyst – Level 2 support Location: Brisbane CBD | Hybrid 6 months contract – High regard for extensions Rate: $57.09 / hour + Super We are partnering with a Queensland Government Department seeking a Level 2 Support Analyst to join their dedicated AI Services team. This group is responsible for delivering and operating secure, scalable AI solutions that support improved service delivery across the public sector. In this role, you will work within a structured multi-tier support model, taking ownership of incident triage, investigation, and resolution. You’ll apply approved configuration updates, manage workflows in Jira, escalates complex issues to specialist teams, and ensure stakeholders remain fully informed throughout the process. Your work will directly contribute to the stability, security, and reliability of AI services running on a large‑scale government AI platform—providing the operational backbone that enables innovative digital services across the state. Key Responsibilities: Triage, investigate, and resolve Level 2 incidents within agreed timeframes. Manage tickets, queues, and reporting through Jira Service Management. Apply approved configuration and operational updates to supported applications. Escalate complex or high‑risk issues to senior engineers or specialist teams. Contribute to service reporting, documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives. Maintain clear, professional communication with stakeholders throughout the incident lifecycle. To thrive in this role, you will ideally demonstrate: Experience supporting multiple applications within an ITIL‑aligned environment. Strong capability in incident triage, ticket management, and operational reporting (Jira preferred ). The ability to troubleshoot and resolve Level 2 incidents, with sound escalation judgment. An understanding of generative AI technologies—ideally Azure OpenAI, Azure Search, and Document Intelligence. Clear, professional communication skills suited to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders. Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, including identifying recurring issues and recommending improvements.
