AV Technician

This is a perfect opportunity for individuals who have an interest in audio visual and video conferencing. As an Audio Visual Technician Apprentice at Diversified, you will be learning the ropes of installing state‑of‑the‑art audio visual equipment in a variety of commercial and industrial settings. This full‑time fixed‑term role is based in Darwin, and you will play a crucial part in ensuring our clients have reliable and high‑quality audio visual solutions to support their business needs. What you’ll be doing Setting out, cutting and installation of cable containment system Assisting in the installation of a wide range of audio visual equipment, including projectors, speakers, screens, cameras, control systems, brackets and wall plates Custom cable manufacture and basic continuity testing Read and interpret schematic diagrams, panel drawings and rack layouts Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction Travel to regional and remote client sites when required Adhering to all WH&S safety protocols and industry best practices Attend in‑person classes at the TAFE during scheduled blocks What we’re looking for Successful completion of Year 10 school certificate or equivalent Holds a current Construction Induction Card or willing to obtain one Holds current EWP licence and Cabler Registration with endorsements is desirable but not essential A valid Driver’s License and Personal Vehicle to be able to commute to sites is desirable Australian Citizenship or PR work rights is desirable If this sounds like you and you have a passion in the AV industry, we encourage you to apply now About us – Diversified is a global leader in audio visual and media innovation, recognized for designing and building the world’s most experiential environments.
