Join the Civmec Team Civmec is excited to announce that we have been awarded a new Sodium Cyanide Expansion Project in Kwinana working Monday‑Friday. This is a great opportunity for experienced Special Class Welders to join our team This is your chance to contribute to a major industrial upgrade and work alongside a skilled, high‑performing team. The Role Welding to AS3992 and ASME IX standard Interpret engineering and detail fabrication drawings, specifications and standards Undertake and pass all necessary weld qualifications in required weld processes Perform the welding of Stainless and Carbon pipe Maintain all correct consumables, feeds, amperages and pre‑heat in accordance with applicable weld procedures Perform welding techniques including, but not limited to, MMAW, FCAW, MIG, SAW Weld steel structures in sequence to eliminate shrinkage and distortion of steel components Remove tack welds, clean and restore weld preparations where required About You Australian recognised Trade Certificate Current Working Safely at Heights Certificate Current High risk elevating work platform licence and VOC Current Drivers Licence Nationally recognised Construction Safety Awareness Card (White Card) Ability to pass a 6G GTAW/MMAW on Carbon and stainless pipe Previous construction experience Ability to complete and pass a pre‑employment medical and drug & alcohol screen Civmec + You At Civmec, we offer an inclusive workplace built on family values, with a ‘Never Assume' culture, sustained by our experienced and supportive management team.
