Experience : 7+ Years Location : Sydney Responsibilities Minimum 7+ years of hands-on experience in network implementation as a Senior Network Engineer / Cloud Network Engineer specialized in delivery in the following environments: AWS networking Enterprise and Data Centre networks Security appliances (Load Balancer, Firewalls, etc.) Proven experience working in a mission critical environment, with proven success in delivering complex solutions with adherence to all change processes and project delivery methodologies. Proven experience with AWS networking (Transit GWs, VPC, VPC peering, Elastic IP, Direct Connects) and cloud applications like Route 53, NLB, ALB, etc. Sound understanding of how routing works in cloud environments (AWS or Azure). Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices, utilising tools such as Terraform, Ansible, Python, etc. Proven experience with CI/CD platforms including GitLab, GitHub or Bitbucket for automated provisioning, configuration management and deployment of cloud infrastructure. Deep understanding of MPLS technology and applications such as L2 VPN pseudowire, L3 VRF, Route reflectors, LDP, MBGP. Familiarity with data centre facilities and available to be on-site as and when required to stage, test, commission equipment and oversee any system go-live events, as required. Developed a deep understanding of core network technologies (BGP (eBGP and iBGP), OSPF, MPBGP, Multicast, MLAG, VLANs, ACLs, QoS etc.) and security technologies (Firewalling, Load Balancing, WAF, etc). Extensive knowledge of the main network and security vendors such as Arista, Cisco, Palo Alto, F5. Qualifications Experience with AWS networking (Transit Gateways, VPCs, VPC peering, Elastic IPs, Direct Connects) and cloud services (Route 53, Network Load Balancer, Application Load Balancer). Strong understanding of routing in cloud environments (AWS or Azure). Hands-on IaC experience using Terraform, Ansible, Python, etc. Experience with CI/CD platforms (GitLab, GitHub, Bitbucket) for automated provisioning and deployment of cloud infrastructure. Knowledge of MPLS and related networking concepts and vendor familiarity (Arista, Cisco, Palo Alto, F5).
