Mental Health Clinician - Portland Adult Team Join South West Healthcare as a Mental Health Clinician and make a real difference We are looking for Registered Psychiatric Nurses, Occupational Therapists, Social Workers, and Psychologists to provide trauma informed, recovery focused care to adults aged 26-65. Fixed Term - Parental Leave Cover Part Time 64 hours per fortight until March 2026 Location: Portland Campus Classification: Registered Psychiatric Nurse Grade 3, Social Worker/Occupational Therapist Grade 2/Psychologist Grade 2 Salary Range: $88,030 – $112,091 per annum, (pro rata) plus superannuation South West Healthcare's Portland Community Mental Health Service is offering full-time ongoing and fixed-term parental leave positions for compassionate Mental Health Clinicians. This role is open to Registered Psychiatric Nurses, Occupational Therapists, Social Workers, and Psychologists—all disciplines are encouraged to apply. You will work within a multidisciplinary team providing specialised mental health care to adults aged 26–65 across the Portland region. Our team delivers recovery-focused support, including crisis intervention, therapeutic care, and long-term recovery planning for people living with complex or enduring mental illness. As a Mental Health Clinician, you will provide trauma-informed, recovery-oriented care to individuals, families, and carers, engaging community and natural supports to help consumers achieve their goals and improve their mental wellbeing.
