About the Role A unique opportunity exists in ABL's Sydney office for a law graduate to join our Tax team. This role would suit either a graduate or someone who has recently commenced their career and is looking to join private practice. This graduate role forms part of a graduate cohort across our Melbourne and Sydney offices. PLT (practical legal training) will be provided as part of the traineeship, with the ability to attend our specialised in‑house graduate training. You will have: completed your law degree and achieved excellent academic results; achieved strong results in taxation law with a genuine passion for this subject matter; an ability to communicate, both in writing and orally, clearly and concisely; strong interpersonal skills; excellent attention to detail; an ability to understand and identify the key issues in a legal matter; good judgement and common sense; the ability to work both independently and as part of a team; and a passion for a career in commercial law.
