The Role As a Private Buyer, you’ll engage directly with car owners to purchase vehicles for our network. You’ll combine market knowledge, negotiation skills, and customer care to secure quality vehicles while building relationships that reflect our trusted reputation. Key Responsibilities Source and acquire vehicles directly from private sellers, maintaining a strong, high-quality pipeline. Conduct detailed inspections and valuations to ensure accurate pricing. Negotiate confidently to secure vehicles at the right price while providing a great customer experience. Collaborate with logistics and operations teams to ensure smooth transactions and vehicle movements. Use live market data and valuation tools to identify opportunities and maintain competitive buying strategies. Maintain accurate digital records and uphold Berwick Mitsubishi and Carco’s professional and ethical standards. About You You’re driven, professional, and commercially minded, a people person with strong product knowledge and negotiation ability. You take pride in fair, fast, and accurate deals that help both the business and the customer win. You'll bring Experience in vehicle purchasing, dealership buying, or retail car acquisitions. Strong understanding of vehicle models, condition assessment, and market trends. Exceptional communication and negotiation skills. A data-driven mindset with the ability to analyse pricing and market data. Attention to detail and discipline in process execution. A valid driver’s licence and genuine passion for cars. What We Offer OTE $150,000 - $200,000 + Super + Company Car. Base salary with uncapped commissions - your results drive your rewards.
