About the Role As a Cleaner, you will play a vital role in ensuring the school remains a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors. You will report to the Principal or their delegate and perform a range of cleaning and maintenance tasks. Key Responsibilities Clean and sanitise classrooms, offices, and common areas, including windows, furniture, and floors. Maintain hygiene in toilet facilities and sick bays. Manage rubbish disposal and litter control, including cleaning outdoor surfaces and drains. Perform security tasks such as locking and unlocking buildings and managing security systems. Liaise with the Principal or Business Manager regarding cleaning supplies and report maintenance or safety concerns. About You Previous experience in cleaning or maintenance roles. Strong attention to detail and commitment to high standards of cleanliness. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Good communication skills for liaising with staff and reporting issues. Basic knowledge of workplace health and safety practices.
