Senior Engineer

Lab3 is one of the largest Azure engineering practices in the Australasia region with a focus on Cloud & DevOps, Data, IoT & AI, Modern Workplace, Modern Apps & Integration, Security, and Network services. We are on the hunt for a Senior Engineer (Professional Services) with experience across Microsoft modern workplace management (e.g. M365, Intune, Application Packaging & Windows SOE). This will be a 6-12 month contract with likelihood of extension. NV1 AGSVA security clearance is essential for this engagement. The role : You willlead technical client engagements, drive high level design, consult, undertake maturity assessmentsand deliveryforour Modern Workplace practice. These will address clients' requirements of scalability, reliability, security,operationsand performance. The role will utilise technology skills in the Modern Workplace Environment, primarily in a cloud environment but with migration and on-prem skills being useful, along with strong consulting skills. Deliver professional services that leverage solutions in the Modern Workplace space that include including AVD, Intune, App Packaging, Purview, Teams & DSC and as much of the M365 suite as possible. Provide consulting services across a range of facets including SOE, Modern Management and end to end IT governance / security reviews. Evaluate emerging Modern Workplace technology, develop and evolve go-to-market professional services offerings to ensure customers capitalise on the latest technology in this space. Develop Infrastructure as Code solutions for Azure Virtual Desktop engagements. Develop Configuration as Code libraries surrounding M365 tenant standardisation – including Intune, SOE and standardised configuration of various aspects of M365 deployment. Work with the Solution Architecture team to develop new products and services that leverage the latest Microsoft 365 services and dependencies, as well as providing technical governance and sign-off of projects and proposals. Present to senior business & technology leaders, conduct workshops and review architecture. Assist the presales team by providing them expertise in this field. The right candidate : Will have a deep and wide understanding of Modern Workplace tech (i.e. Microsoft Intune, AVD, Application Packaging, Windows SOE, Purview, Teams & DSC). Strong consulting acumen and the ability to design & present the optimum business solutions to stakeholders Experience running workshops with key stakeholders, the ability to talk to technical and business heads with equal ease Experience with delivery management Certifications in Microsoft 365 / MS 500 / MS101 / MS 365 Mobility / AZ 900 preferred AGSVA security cleared, minimum NV1 Based anywhere in Australia What's in it for you?
