This Full‑time position located in Wingfield is a genuine opportunity to be part of an organization experiencing continuous growth. We are seeking a qualified and experienced Heavy Vehicle Diesel Mechanic – Field & Workshop to join our maintenance team. The successful applicant should possess the following attributes: Suitably trade qualified with experience in diesel engines. Experience in light and heavy vehicles essential. Experience with Volvo trucks and Asphalt equipment – highly desirable. Ability to schedule and organise parts, execute planned maintenance, and manage / carry out emergency repairs. Ability to demonstrate safe work practices. Maintaining the workshop to a high standard. Liaise with other staff members and suppliers. Work well in a team, show initiative, and be responsible. Be able to travel and stay away with the crew when required. Experience with hydraulics and auto electrical systems – highly regarded. Welding experience – highly regarded. You must be able to work flexible hours to meet operational requirements; some weekend work may be required. An attractive hourly rate plus overtime and allowances, a fully maintained service vehicle, mobile phone, and company iPad are supplied. VSA Roads is an equal opportunity employer.
