Join to apply for the Civil Project Manager - BNE - Gen role at EGroup Protective Services Group Pty Ltd We are regularly tendering for works in the Brisbane and greater Queensland area and are seeking expressions of interest from experienced professional Civil Project Managers in the road construction and maintenance industry. The role is for assignments over a period of approximately 1–2 years with a possibility of ongoing extensions and other projects. Significant road construction and maintenance delivery experience is required to manage and lead the projects from a contractor"s perspective, including competence in the following areas: Budgeting, programming, monitoring expenditure, controlling resources and reviewing priorities. Manage Labour, Plant, Materials and Subcontract within budget and time constraints. Undertaking various contract management activities including client liaison. Procurement of road making materials and project services within guidelines. Implement PM techniques and systems in accordance with company processes. Submit reports and provide information to management within timeframes. Train and guide project staff on specifications and construction processes. Contribute to the estimating process for bids or offers. Maintain a high standard in traffic management. Strong experience and knowledge of TMR Technical Specifications. Working knowledge of 3PCM, SAP, P6 or other similar project management packages is an advantage. Strong written, verbal communication and computer literacy skills. Experience with QMS and its effective application on construction projects. Experience with Project Management Systems, including Safety and Environment. The hours are variable, typically around 40 per week, with longer hours and weekend work as required. The role can be Brisbane and/or greater Queensland based, with potential travel to regional or remote locations depending on requirements. Qualifications Possession of a degree in Civil Engineering or an equivalent qualification accepted by the Institution of Engineers Australia as a full Member (MIEAust), or alternatives like a Bachelor of Tech / Civil, with work experience considered where applicable. Prior TMR Pre-Qualification as a PMC01 would be a distinct advantage. You must have the right to work in Australia, strong interpersonal and consultative skills, at least 5 years of prior Australian experience in the Civil Roads Infrastructure Industry working with Queensland Councils, DTMR and/or other Australian State Road Authorities, and be a resident of Australia.
