About the Role We are seeking a passionate and experienced Team Leader to oversee Supported Independent Living services across multiple homes. In this role, you will provide hands‑on leadership to House Leaders and Support Workers, ensuring high‑quality, person‑centred support for participants with disabilities and complex care needs. Key Responsibilities Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing Disability Support Worker team across multiple sites. Ensure best‑practice support for participants with complex and behavioural needs. Champion trauma-informed care, behaviour support strategies and positive engagement. Build strong relationships with participants, families, guardians, and external stakeholders. Maintain compliance with NDIS standards, incident management, and organisational procedures. Oversee daily operations including rostering, documentation, coaching, and staff supervision. Support continuous improvement and uphold service excellence. Your Impact As a SIL Team Leader, your leadership directly influences the stability, safety, and quality of life of the people we support. You help participants build skills, independence, and confidence, while empowering teams to deliver exceptional care. What We’re Looking For We are seeking someone with proven leadership capability, a deep understanding of disability support, and a genuine commitment to empowering people with complex needs. What You Bring Cert IV or higher in Community Services, Disability, Youth Work, or Aged Care. 5+ years’ experience supporting individuals with disabilities, ideally in SIL or residential care. Demonstrated leadership experience (House Leader, Coordinator, or similar). Strong understanding of behaviour support, restrictive practices, and trauma‑informed care. Excellent interpersonal skills—coaching, communication, de‑escalation and conflict resolution. Ability to work flexibly, travel across sites, and participate in an on‑call roster.
