Overview Volunteer- Lecturer & Discussion Facilitator (English or Russian) Reporting to the Practice and Support Coordinator/Lifestyle Coordinator. This role will be based at our Residential Aged Care facility. Responsibilities Prepare and deliver informative and engaging lectures on a wide range of topics. Facilitate discussions, allowing residents to share their thoughts and insights. Qualifications A warm, friendly and compassionate personality. A responsible approach to following safety guidelines. Promote positive and respectful relationships with residents through friendly and supportive interactions. Strong knowledge and enthusiasm for a variety of topics. Proficiency in English and/or Russian languages. Effective communication and presentation skills. A passion for engaging with elderly residents and fostering meaningful discussions. Be reliable, compassionate, and enjoy spending time with our clients. Commitment to regular volunteering. Availability: 30 minutes once a week or fortnightly.
