Arborists – Tree Services (Senior Operations Technician) – Multiple Positions Join Bayside Council to protect and enhance our parks and open space assets as an experienced Arborist. This role includes a range of planned and reactive arboricultural, machine operations, and related traffic management activities. You will support operational staff on site to ensure completion of all allocated work. About The Role This is an exceptional opportunity for a qualified and experienced Arborist who takes pride in their work to join Bayside. It includes a range of planned and reactive arboricultural, machine operations and/or related traffic management activities for Council’s parks and open space assets. The role is also responsible for guiding and supporting operational staff on site to ensure completion of all allocated work. You Can Also Expect To Plan and organise work to deliver work requests or programmes. Report any identified work request variations to Team Leader or Tree Management Officer to ensure Council parks and open space assets are well maintained. Provide feedback and contribute to team processes to improve service delivery, safety and compliance. Guide operational staff on site to enable overall delivery of allocated work. Work in collaboration with and assist the team, manager and other key stakeholders to achieve business unit goals, work requests, demands and Council priorities. About You Minimum Cert III in Arboriculture or equivalent qualification. Relevant experience as an Arborist. A SafeWork NSW white card (general construction induction card). Current Driver’s Licence Class C. Desirable accreditation or willingness to obtain after probation period Current “Chem Use.” Current MR license. EWP/Working at Heights. Our Benefits And Culture 15 days sick leave each year. 2 days health and wellbeing leave from your sick leave balance each year. 3 extra days off during Christmas each year (Grant Days). Additional parental leave entitlements for both parents. Salary range From $70,599 - $79,071 per annum plus 12% superannuation. Deadline Wednesday 3 December, 2025.
