Volunteer Driver & Driver Offsider Working in pairs, our Volunteer Drivers and Driver Offsiders get to see the sunrise while they collect donations from our donation bins in the local area. Bringing the items back to the Albury warehouse where they hand it over to our sorting teams. Being quite handy and a little environmentally conscious, our driving teams also assist with maintaining the small truck and transporting our recycling and waste deliveries. Our driving teams often socialise over a coffee after their shift so these roles are a great way to make new connections while providing a valuable service to the community. Lifeline is a trusted national charity. We are driven by the belief that Australian lives lost to suicide can be prevented. At Lifeline Albury Wodonga we deliver Telephone Crisis Support Services. Backed by more than 70 volunteers, our 2 Lifeline retail shops sell donated and pre-loved goods to help fund our crisis support services and help save lives. Category : Community Services Commitment : Regular – more than 6 months Type Of Work : Driving & Transportation Time Required : Minimum commitment of one shift a week (approx 4-5 hours) starting at around 7:15am plus one weekend shift a month on a rotating roster.
