We are seeking a reliable and skilled Experienced Demolition Labourer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on demolition experience, a strong work ethic, and a solid understanding of safe work practices. You will work on a variety of commercial, industrial, and residential demolition projects. Key Responsibilities: Carry out demolition tasks including dismantling structures, removing debris, and preparing sites for construction. Operate hand and power tools such as jackhammers, grinders, saws, and compactors. Assist with structural stripping, interior soft‑strip demolition, and site clearing. Load and unload materials, equipment, and waste into containers or trucks. Follow all site safety procedures, PPE requirements, and hazard‑control measures. Identify and handle hazardous materials (asbestos, lead, silica) according to regulations and training. Work closely with supervisors and team members to complete tasks efficiently. Maintain clean and organised work areas. Requirements: Proven experience as a demolition labourer or construction labourer. Knowledge of demolition processes, tools, and equipment. Strong physical stamina and ability to perform manual labour in varying conditions. Commitment to safe work practices and procedures. Valid white card. Completed Silica Awareness Training. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with mechanical demolition equipment (e.g., Excavators, skid steers). Additional tickets such as Confined Spaces, Working at Heights, Manual Handling, EWP, or First Aid. Knowledge of waste segregation and recycling procedures. #J-18808-Ljbffr
