You will play a pivotal role in upholding these Values and contributing to our collective success. We are seeking an experiencedSenior Geology Technician to join our KCGMOperations. Thisresidential roleis on an8/6 roster working 11-hour days. Here’s what awaits you: Assist in the supervision & leadership of a fully functional core processing facility. Complete regular audits and inspections to ensure maintenance of mobile and fixed plant. Assist with the development and maintenance of relevant Standard Operating Procedures. Provide in-house training and ongoing mentoring of Geology Technicians. Process, sample, and collect data from diamond drill core. Sample and collect data from Reverse Circulation, Blast Hole, Rotary Air Blast, Aircore and auger drillholes. Ensure timely and accurate sample dispatch to assay laboratories. Coordinate daily activities, liaising with mining and geology teams. Develop strong working relationships with members of the Operations, Growth and Discovery Geology teams. Hands‑on role with approximately 60% of the role requiring direct leadership with your team. To thrive in this role, you’ll need: Experience: Minimum 3 years' experience in a field assistant/technician role Computer literacy with the ability to use Microsoft office products. Excellent numeracy skills. Good communication skills, written and verbal. Strong attention to detail, ability to plan daily activities and meet deadlines. Leadership skills Flexibility to adapt to improved procedures and practices. Qualifications: essential Current "C" Class Western Australian Driver's Licence Current approved and recognised forklift ticket.
