Job Description AECOM is delivering some of Australia’s most critical water infrastructure projects. With major investment in dam infrastructure and long‑term partnerships with dam owners nationwide, we offer an unparalleled opportunity to work on complex and high‑impact projects across the country. As part of our industry‑leading Dams team, you’ll contribute to feasibility studies, design, construction, and asset management, collaborating with specialists nationally and internationally to develop sustainable water solutions and mentor the next generation of engineers. With AECOM’s flexibility, base yourself in either our Sunshine Coast, Brisbane, Gold Coast, Newcastle, Sydney or Perth offices. How you’ll make a difference Leading and running engineering components of complex, major dam projects and providing technical and strategic direction in their delivery. Guiding and mentoring our growing team of engineers to provide high quality outputs and excellent client service. Leading design teams and design programmes from options‑analysis through to detailed design of dams. Creating and maintaining lasting relationships with our clients. Qualifications The qualities that help you thrive: The following qualifications and experience are highly desired, but if you don’t tick all the boxes you could still be a perfect fit for this role. Please apply, all applications will be considered. Proven experience in delivering above expected outcomes and a strong technical capability within the dam industry. A passion for mentoring and leadership. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. You enjoy developing and nurturing relationships with internal stakeholders, clients as well as the local industry, whether through project work, client initiatives or industry associations. A relevant tertiary degree (essential).
