Gehrke Ag is a family business that specialises in all grain services and bulk transport. The large site includes grain storage, drying, cleaning and fumigation facilities and a stockfeed mixing plant. About the role We are looking for a reliable and conscientious person to work in our yard team. The role requires a current forklift license and experience driving trucks is an advantage. The role includes: Unloading trucks using augers, tubeveyors etc. Loading shipping containers with grain Operation of grain handling equipment (dryer and grader) Maintaining site hygiene standards including cleaning and maintenance Mixing stockfeed Handling and stacking 25 kg bags The successful applicant must have a positive attitude and be willing to work as part of our team as well as independently when required. We have a busy site with lots going on and we need a self motivated person who can learn to operate various types of equipment and work with the rest of the staff to fulfil a broad range of duties. The role is outdoors and requires a fit person that can handle and stack 25 kg bags of feed. Benefits and perks Friendly working environment. Regular hours. Variety of tasks.
