We provide necessary tools, cover maintenance and insurance, and strive to make each workday rewarding and stress‑free. Our current area of work is Melbourne’s Northern and Western Suburbs. We currently have two positions available: Position 1: Immediate Start Position 2: Commencing February 2026 Qualifications & Experience Certificate in Horticulture or Landscaping – Not essential but preferred. Residential Gardening Experience – Especially with elderly or disabled clients (not essential but preferred). Minimum 6 months gardening experience required. Safe Gardening Practices – Especially around mobility or vision impairments. Manual Handling Training – Preferred but can be provided. Communication Skills – Ability to communicate with elderly clients, carers, and family members. Police Check & Working With Children Check – Can be obtained after a job offer is made. Driver’s Licence – Required for travel between clients. Ability to Drive With a Trailer – Including safe loading, securing, and maintaining a trailer. Australian citizenship is required for this position. Tasks & Responsibilities Regular Garden Maintenance – Aged Care Clients & Private Clients Mowing lawns, edging, trimming hedges, pruning plants. Weed control to prevent overgrowth. Keeping pathways safe, clear, and free from debris. Collecting and disposing of garden waste. Watering, fertilising, and seasonal plant care. Assisting with light landscaping tasks. Identifying and managing pests using environmentally friendly methods. Maintaining tools and equipment safely. Communicating with clients to understand their needs. Adjusting garden layout (within reason) to support mobility needs. Respecting client privacy at all times. Observing and reporting potential hazards. Benefits Own Tools Bonus: A levy will be paid if using your own tools. Tool Maintenance & Insurance: All tool costs are covered by us. Tool Provision: Tools can be supplied if you do not have your own or are missing recommended equipment. Cover Letter Requirements Whether you have your own tools and can transport them between jobs. Whether you are able to take green waste when required. Any experience you have with home gardening or garden maintenance jobs. A little about yourself.
