You'll play a vital role in strengthening our risk management framework by testing and assessing controls across the Insurance Australia portfolio. Position Accountabilities Conduct detailed control testing and gather evidence to assess effectiveness Prepare test plans aligned with the control schedule Document findings and support the creation of clear, concise reports Track and monitor remediation activities for identified control gaps Assist in monitoring the health of the control environment using issue data Collaborate with teams across divisions to facilitate testing Maintain accurate process documentation and support control training initiatives Contribute to a culture of high performance and workplace safety What Experience You’ll Bring Has 1–3 years of experience in audit, risk, compliance, or analytical roles Ideally brings 2–3 years’ experience in financial services or insurance Has experience with control testing, assurance, or internal audit activities Holds a relevant Bachelor’s degree or industry qualifications (desirable) Is highly analytical, meticulous, and curious, with a knack for problem‑solving Communicates clearly in writing and verbally, engaging effectively with stakeholders Can manage priorities and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment Locations This role is available at both of our Brisbane and Sunshine Coast locations providing flexibility to choose the office that suits you. Our Toowong office is close to the city with easy public transport and parking options. If you love a view of the water, consider our Kawana office on the edge of Lake Kawana and only a five minute drive to the closest beach.
