Position Patient Support Assistant – WA Country Health Service. Permanent / Fixed Term / Casual, 38 hours per fortnight, possibility of extension(s) and/or permanency. Eligibility Applicants must be a valid working visa (for fixed term appointments) or be an Australian citizen, permanent resident, or have a visa to live and work indefinitely in Australia. Other Conditions WA Health engages staff in positions of trust and responsibility. Candidates must undertake a criminal records screening and integrity check; may also be required to undertake a Working With Children check and a pre‑employment health assessment. A negative result may be considered but does not automatically disqualify. This vacancy requires a Western Australian Working With Children (WWC) Check. Pre‑Employment Health Assessment (PEHA) is required; an unsatisfactory PEHA will result in withdrawal of the offer. Position Profile Assists with a range of support services as directed by the Coordinator Support Services and provides personal care to clients under the direction of a registered nurse.
