Lead Mechanical Designer Perth This role has been created as a result of a growing pipeline of awarded international minerals projects in diverse commodities including Gold, Uranium, Rare Earths and more. The successful candidate will have the right client and team focus, as well as a commitment to and enthusiasm for continuous improvement. About The Role Prepare 3D layouts (using Smart Plant 3D) and detailed drawings. Coordinate and lead project design team while working on deliverables in line with project requirements. Be a key contributor to the delivery of multi-disciplinary engineering designs and feasibility studies. Review vendor drawings and design data. Manage and provide support to the project team to ensure compliance with all applicable legislation, standards, and procedures. About You Detailed knowledge of materials handling & mineral processing. Ability to lead, mentor and develop a team of design professionals. Significant experience in 3D modelling. Prior experience with Smart Plant 3D highly desirable Sound knowledge of applicable local and international standards, industry regulations and HSE practices. Proficient in the layout of process plant equipment Ability to review and provide constructive feedback on vendor drawings and interdisciplinary design data. Advanced knowledge and practical application of design theories, principles and practices. Why Ausenco?
