We’re growing and looking for a dedicated Exercise Physiologist or Personal Trainer to join our vibrant Wellness Centre in Cairns. This is your opportunity to be part of a professional and purpose‑driven team making a genuine impact in the community. About the Role Permanent Full‑Time – 38 hours/week (Monday to Friday). Based in our state‑of‑the‑art Cairns Wellness Centre, focused on older adults and those with chronic conditions. Collaborate closely with allied health professionals to deliver tailored care plans. What You’ll Be Doing As an Exercise Physiologist or Personal Trainer, you’ll be part of a passionate team focused on delivering tailored health plans and exercise programmes to older clients, addressing the complex issues that come with ageing. As an Exercise Physiologist: Assess client health and create personalised plans. Deliver and supervise group and individual exercise programmes. Monitor progress, provide feedback and manage health risks. Build relationships with local stakeholders. As a Personal Trainer: Deliver and supervise group and individualized exercise programmes. Provide hands‑on guidance, motivation and support. Facilitate stretch and flow classes. Monitor progress, provide feedback, and help manage health risks. What You’ll Need Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Exercise Physiology, or Certificate IV in Personal Training (minimum). Experience working with clients aged 65+ or in aged care settings. Registration with AUSactive or ESSA. Current Police check, DL, First Aid & CPR certification. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build trust with elderly clients.
