Tool Repair Technician – Hilti Australia Location: Sydney, New South Wales, Australia Deliver expert repairs, ensure reliability, and keep our customers’ tools performing at their best. As a Tool Repair Technician, you will work hands‑on repairing Hilti power tools, conducting functional and safety testing after each repair, and ensuring quality and customer safety. You’ll operate within a bench‑based workshop with all the necessary tools and resources, working as part of a team to meet same‑day targets. Responsibilities Carry out service, repair, and calibration of all Hilti tools and equipment from cordless power tools to diamond wall saws and concrete X‑ray scanning equipment. Follow globally defined repair standards using the latest equipment to analyse, test and calibrate Hilti products. Perform all repair work with a balanced focus on quality, cost and time. Take an active role in Hilti Aftermarket Services quality improvement processes. Contribute regularly to continuous improvement processes. Take responsibility for and maintain the work benches and hand tools. Participate in ongoing training to learn new products and processes. Ensure all environmental, health and safety procedures are followed. Qualifications Experience maintaining and repairing electric or mechanical tools or a similar skill base. Willingness to learn and adaptability to new challenges. Ability to work in a dynamic environment, executing multiple tasks on time to meet daily operational deadlines. Electrical or mechanical background is an advantage. Relevant electrical or mechanical licence is an advantage. Comfortable using a computer (e.g., Microsoft Windows, Internet, Excel, and SAP) – coaching provided. Benefits Competitive base salary + bonus. A diverse and inclusive culture.
