Requirements for this role Flexible hours available 2-3 years of relevant work experience required Position Overview The Front of House (FOH) team member is responsible for creating a welcoming, professional, and efficient customer experience. This role serves as the first point of contact for guests, ensuring smooth service flow, excellent communication, and a high standard of presentation at all times. Key Responsibilities Customer Service Greet guests warmly as they enter the premises. Provide information about services, menu items, or operations. Respond to customer questions, concerns, and requests promptly and professionally. Maintain a positive and friendly attitude at all times. Service Operations Manage reservations, seating, and guest flow. Coordinate with Back of House (BOH) staff to ensure timely service. Take orders accurately (if applicable) and process payments. Deliver food, beverages, or products to guests as needed. Reception & Administrative Duties Answer phone calls and respond to email inquiries. Manage bookings, schedule adjustments, or event details. Operate POS systems, cash handling, and daily transaction balancing. Maintain organized reception/front desk areas. Cleanliness & Presentation Keep FOH areas tidy, clean, and visually appealing. Monitor bathrooms and public spaces regularly. Ensure signage, menus, and displays are up to date. Team Collaboration Communicate clearly with kitchen, management, and other FOH team members. Support colleagues during busy periods. Attend meetings and training sessions as required. Skills & Qualifications Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Customer service experience (preferred). Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Professional presentation and punctuality. Basic POS/cash-handling skills.
