We are seeking an experienced Consultant Rheumatologist on a part-time basis. This role offers the perfect work-life balance whilst contributing to exceptional patient care in a supportive, collaborative environment. This position is ongoing part-time (26.25 hours per week), however flexibility will be considered for appointment to the role and the hours can be split between multiple successful applicants. Key Responsibilities Providing expert clinical care in Rheumatology and General Medicine. Supervising and mentoring junior medical staff and medical students. Participating in multidisciplinary team meetings and hospital committees. Driving quality improvement, patient safety, and clinical risk management initiatives. Engaging in clinical trials and research to advance rheumatology practice. Supporting undergraduate and postgraduate teaching programs. You will play a pivotal role in providing safe, evidence-based, and patient-focused care, while contributing to teaching, research, and clinical leadership. To be eligible for this position, you must possess a Bachelor of Medicine; Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or equivalent, and appropriate Specialist Qualifications and registrable with the Medical Board of Australia as a Medical Practitioner with Specialist registration; or another qualification as defined in the SA Medical Officers Award. The Total Indicative Remuneration figure is calculated taking into account base salary, leave loading and superannuation as well as managerial allowances, professional development or any other allowances where appropriate.
