Join Cafs, a values‑driven organisation, as our Team Leader – Strengthening Connections. This role sits within our Family Safety & Child Wellbeing Team. As Team Leader, you will provide leadership and operational oversight for the Strengthening Connections (Adolescent Family Violence in the Home) and Primary Connections (Early Intervention) programs. You will guide practitioners in delivering trauma‑informed, restorative interventions that improve safety and wellbeing for children, young people, and families. About You We are looking for a motivated, values‑driven leader with substantial experience working with vulnerable families and young people. You will thrive in a dynamic environment, balancing strategic planning with hands‑on support for practitioners. Your ability to lead, mentor, and foster collaboration will be key to success. Skills & Attributes Mandatory qualifications: Tertiary qualification (Diploma or above) in Social Work, Welfare Studies, Family Therapy, Family Violence, Psychology or related discipline Substantial post‑graduate experience working with vulnerable families, young people, and children Experience supervising staff and applying the MARAM Framework Leadership experience and knowledge of family violence interventions Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills Our Organisation Cafs (Child and Family Services Ballarat) is an independent community service organisation with over 160 years of history.
