Wildlife Fundraiser – Penrith Key Details Ref: NOV Location: Penrith Salary: £25,847 - £27,549 per annum Contract: Permanent Closing Date: Sun, 21st Dec 2025 About the Role Each day you’ll drive your company van to venues in the Penrith area, set up a fundraising stand, engage the public about conservation, and inspire them to become members through regular direct debit support. Responsibilities Use your company van (fuel and parking covered) to travel to venues in your area. Set up an eye‑catching, informative fundraising stand. Engage members of the public in meaningful conversations about conservation. Inspire them to become members through regular direct debit support. We’ll Set You Up for Success Full training provided – no wildlife knowledge required. Salary‑based role with set income stability. Company van included for business use, with all expenses covered. Generous 34 days annual leave (incl. bank holidays), plus sabbatical opportunities. About You A passion for people and a belief in the power of conservation. Resilience: the ability to face rejection and keep going with positivity. Confidence speaking to strangers and working towards clear targets. A full UK driving licence. Availability to work 3 out of 4 weekends in any given month. Willingness to travel up to an hour from home each way every day. Comfortable working outdoors and often alone. Fundraising, sales, or customer service experience. Induction and Training Provided at RSPB HQ, Sandy, Bedfordshire (travel and accommodation covered).
