About the role In this role, you will operate and maintain a waste pump truck to safely collect, transport, and dispose of liquid and solid waste materials. You will ensure all waste management activities align with Kennards Hire’s values, standards, and procedures while maintaining a strong focus on safety, efficiency, and exceptional customer service. The driver plays a key role in upholding environmental safety standards and delivering reliable waste collection and disposal services. This role requires you to Drive a MR Truck fitted with a toilet servicing tank Servicing toilets including using a hose to pump out effluent from toilets, cleaning and sanitising the toilets, replenishing the toilets with fresh water, and refilling consumables such as toilet paper Completing a time sensitive toilet cleaning schedule for an allocated run Completion of required paperwork including pre-start checklists Driving between numerous worksites each day Safely load and unload of portable toilets Provide exceptional customer service in all customer interactions Commitment to maintaining clean and safe work method practices Maintain vehicle, tank and pump setup and to manage stock on board the truck. About you A current MR/HR License This role requires some physical components including lifting and standing on your feet for long periods. A level of physical fitness is required and the ability to pass a drug test Be proactive and keen to learn new skills An interest in machinery and equipment, although training will be provided A positive attitude and team player Ability to work well unsupervised and within a team and complete tasks in a timely manner Please note during the interview process you will need to provide a copy of your driving record Join our team You can always tell someone who works at Kennards Hire.
