Caulfield Cricket Club – Caulfield North VIC Volunteers of Glen Eira are advertising this role on behalf of Caulfield Cricket Club. Caulfield Cricket Club (CCC), reigning 1st Eleven premiers, is a foundation member of the VSDCA (1908/09) and is regarded as a leading club of the VSDCA with an exceptional record of success. CCC has played at Caulfield Park since the late 1870's in ideal surrounds. CCC requires 2 volunteer Scorer/Managers for their 1st and 2nd Elevens, the Senior men's teams, for the 2021/22 season and beyond. This role would suit a Cricket loving person. There is no age limit for volunteers and Youth/student volunteers or volunteers with a disability would be considered. Appointment to this role will be made prior to October 2021. The Cricket season runs for 6 months, from October to late March each year which includes Finals. Game times are Saturday (1PM - 6PM), with some Sunday games during the season. The volunteers would also be encouraged to be active club members and to get involved with our Junior Representative Teams – the Club would assist with the necessary Working With Children and Police Checks. The Scorer/Manager will use a handwritten scorebook and will need the ability to transfer scores to the online My Cricket system. IT Skills and experience with My Cricket is desirable but not necessary. During the match you may need to liaise with the Scoreboard Attendant. Training for the role/s will be provided by the retiring 1st Eleven Manager/Scorer. Costs relating to required scoring equipment will be covered by the Club.
