Visa & Immigration Coordinator

Catalpa is a leading civil construction and energy contractor delivering projects across Australia. As we enter a high‑activity period, our HR team is seeking a part‑time Visa & Immigration Coordinator to support workforce compliance and project resourcing requirements. This role is offered on a temporary, part‑time or casual basis to provide support during a maternity leave period and a peak workload cycle. Responsibilities will vary based on workload and may include: Coordinating visa and immigration documentation for new and existing employees Maintaining visa records, sponsorship obligations, and expiry registers Preparing employment letters and compliance documents Supporting work‑rights verification for project mobilisations Receiving and collating CVs from international applicants, and maintaining a register for management review This role will scale up or down depending on project activity, giving you the flexibility to manage work alongside other commitments. About You We are looking for someone who brings: Experience in visa or immigration coordination (in‑house or via agency) Understanding of Australian immigration requirements and employer sponsorship Strong organisational skills and attention to detail Ability to manage competing deadlines in a fast‑paced environment Confidence communicating with candidates and employees whose English is a second language High levels of integrity and professionalism when handling confidential information The ability to speak Tagalog will be highly advantageous. Contract & Hours Part‑time / casual engagement Temporary assignment (maternity leave cover + peak workload period) 2–3 days per week (flexible) Expected commencement: ASAP Duration: Approximately 5–6 months, with flexibility depending on workflow and return‑to‑work timing #J-18808-Ljbffr
