Our consultants provide services Australia wide with core expertise in: Asbestos/hazardous materials surveys, abatement and remediation projects; and Occupational hygiene monitoring and risk assessments. About the Role We are seeking an experienced environmental professional to join our growing Sydney Environment team. The role offers the opportunity to work on a range of different projects related to: Contaminated land investigations Remediation, monitoring and validation Waste classification, waste management and tracking Ambient and discharge environmental monitoring – air, noise and vibration, water Key responsibilities will include: Environmental fieldwork - site visits, sampling (soil, water, dust etc) and monitoring Site history studies Data management, interpretation and reporting Assessing field and laboratory quality assurance/quality control Working closely with other team members to deliver practical solutions to environmental projects. Experience and Skills Preferably 1 to 3 years relevant related experience in environmental sampling Relevant tertiary qualifications in environmental science/engineering or related disciplines Data interpretation and management Strong verbal and written communication skills Computer literate with strong Microsoft Office skills Experience with Esdat, Arc GIS (or similar packages) Ability to work autonomously and in a team environment A current Australian driver's licence is mandatory.
