Your Next Chapter Starts Here BRAMS is seeking a full‑time Speech Pathologist , based in Broome, WA , to deliver evidence‑based assessment, diagnosis, and therapy services to children, adults, and older people with communication, language, swallowing, feeding, and cognitive‑communication disorders. This role works across BRAMS’ Aged Care, NDIS, and Primary Health Care programs and provides both clinic‑based and community‑based services. The position contributes to multidisciplinary care planning, clinical education, and service improvement, ensuring all services are person‑centred, safe, and culturally responsive. Is This You? The successful candidate will hold a tertiary qualification in Speech Pathology and be recognised as a Certified Practising Speech Pathologist (CPSP) through Speech Pathology Australia , or be eligible to obtain certification prior to commencement. Experience in the assessment and management of communication, swallowing, feeding, and cognitive‑communication disorders. Proven ability to deliver culturally safe, person‑centred, and evidence‑based care. Experience in mealtime assessment, planning, and risk management. Strong communication, documentation, and organisational skills. A commitment to continuous professional development, reflective practice, and quality improvement. You’ll also bring personal qualities that align with BRAMS’ values: Compassion, respect, and motivation to learn from others. Reliability, organisation, and proactive skill development. A collaborative and positive approach that supports a culturally safe workplace. Experience within an Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisation or community health setting, along with an understanding of Aboriginal culture, values, and the social determinants of health, will be highly regarded.
