Energy Power Systems Australia (EPSA) is the authorised supplier of Cat® power systems in Australia, PNG, and the Solomon Islands. As a leading provider of sustainable energy solutions, EPSA provides new and used engines, generators, and hybrid energy systems for a broad range of industries. We also specialise in rental solutions for power generators, compressors, and temperature control systems. We're searching for a Senior Project Manager who thrives on complexity and delivers with precision. This is not your average project management role—you'll provide strategic oversight and governance across a portfolio of major rental and large power projects, from a simple generator sale to the full construction of a power station. You'll ensure standards are met, risks are managed, and outcomes are delivered, while guiding Project Managers and influencing stakeholders at every stage. Based in Mulgrave (VIC), you'll be a key leader in our Solutions Group, shaping the future of power solutions across Australia. What you’ll do : Manage risk, quality, and progress across complex projects, ensuring delivery meets organisational standards and agreed scope. Provide oversight and governance for major rental and large power solutions, including engineering, commercial, and contractual considerations. Supervise and coach Project Managers, ensuring projects are delivered according to plan and providing guidance on complex issues. Champion EPSA’s safety-first culture, driving ZERO Harm and TRIFR compliance across all projects. Ensure commercial outcomes by maintaining Tender Margin and managing contractual obligations during handover meetings. Allocate resources effectively, ensuring projects align with expectations and requirements. Drive continuous improvement, standardising processes and embedding best practices in project delivery. Act as a trusted advisor, providing expert input on engineering, commercial, and risk-related decisions. Represent EPSA with confidence, influencing internal and external stakeholders to achieve successful outcomes. What you’ll bring : Proven experience in project delivery across complex engineering or infrastructure environments, with a strong understanding of commercial and contractual frameworks. Strategic oversight capability—you can see the big picture while managing the detail, ensuring projects meet safety, quality, and financial objectives. Supervisory experience, with the ability to guide and coach Project Managers, ensuring projects are delivered according to plan and supporting them through complex challenges. Risk management mastery, with the ability to identify, assess, and mitigate risks across technical, commercial, and operational dimensions. Exceptional stakeholder engagement skills, able to influence and build trust with internal teams, external partners, and clients at all levels. Strong commercial acumen, including experience with tender processes, contract negotiations, and maintaining profitability. Analytical thinking and problem-solving ability, using data and insights to drive decisions and continuous improvement. Process improvement mindset, with experience standardising and optimising project delivery frameworks. Clear and confident communication, both written and verbal, to articulate complex concepts and drive alignment. Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies, and the ability to adapt them to evolving business needs. Benefits at EPSA?
