Junior Import/Export Coordinator

We're seeking a young, reliable and organised Junior Import/Export Coordinator to join our team at EIF International. In this full-time role, you will be assisting our account managers with transport, import and export activities for our growing business. This is an excellent opportunity to advance your career with practical on-the-job training in the freight forwarding and logistics industry. This is an onsite position, 8am to 4pm, Monday to Friday, based in Campbellfield. What you'll be doing Liaising with team members, customers, transport companies, shipping lines, airfreight and LCL consolidators to coordinate the timely and efficient movement of goods, internationally and domestically. Preparing and processing all necessary documentation, such as export customs declarations, bills of lading, airway bills, arrival notices, delivery orders, outturn reports and cartage advices. Tracking shipments and communicating updates to customers and team members. Ensuring compliance with all relevant import and export regulations and legislation. Providing broader administrative support as required. Identifying opportunities to improve processes and increase efficiency. What we're looking for Proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly Outlook and Excel. Experience with EDI/CargoWise/CW1. Organisational skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. The ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines. Minimum 12 months experience in freight forwarding industry.
