Production Operator/Allocator – Asphalt Plant

State Asphalts NSW Pty Ltd (SA NSW) is part of the Kypreos Group, a family‑owned civil construction business with over 50 years of industry experience. SA NSW is a major supplier of high‑quality manufactured asphalt, operating four asphalt production plants across NSW and supporting some of the state’s most significant infrastructure projects. We are currently seeking a Plant Production Operator / Allocator to join our asphalt manufacturing team, based between our Sydney plants in Prestons and St Marys. This is a permanent opportunity with long‑term stability, training, and genuine career progression for the right person. About the Role This is a hands‑on operational role supporting the safe, efficient manufacture and dispatch of asphalt from our production facilities. Key Responsibilities Operating and monitoring the asphalt manufacturing process Allocating asphalt loads to trucks to meet production and delivery schedules Operating a front‑end loader and associated mobile plant Conducting basic facility housekeeping, maintenance and inspections Supporting production efficiency, quality and safety outcomes Working collaboratively with production, transport and delivery teams Role Details Permanent full‑time position Shift work required – day and/or night shifts, with regular overtime available Immediate start available Some regional travel may be required from time to time About You We are looking for a motivated and reliable individual who takes pride in their work and is committed to safety and teamwork. Experience in the asphalt industry (highly desirable but not essential) A trade qualification (advantageous but not essential) Experience operating mobile plant (preferred, but training can be provided) Strong work ethic, reliability and a willingness to learn A genuine commitment to safe work practices Basic computer literacy A current White Card The ability to pass a pre‑employment medical, including drug and alcohol testing If you don’t have direct asphalt experience but have worked in manufacturing, quarrying, construction or heavy industry and are keen to grow, we encourage you to apply.
