Landscape Maintenance Team Leader

Fully maintained work vehicle with fuel card to take home. Uniform and all tools provided. About the Role and Us We're a commercial landscape maintenance company based in the Sutherland Shire. Initially established in 2015, we focus on providing high level horticultural services to a selected commercial and high end residential client base. We've won a string of new contracts, creating a new role for an experienced Horticulturist to join our growing business. What you'll be doing: Assist with leading a team of maintenance staff and the ability to work autonomously to ensure tasks are completed efficiently. Follow schedules and prioritise tasks to ensure timely completion tasks across all facets of garden maintenance, including but not limited to mowing, hedging, pruning, planting, weeding and fertilising. Provide guidance, mentorship, and training to the team to enhance their horticultural skills and safety practices. Regularly inspect garden areas to assess their condition, identify improvements needed, and implement corrective actions. The team meets and departs from our Kirrawee depot each morning, driving to the client site they're working at that day. They then return to Kirrawee at the end of the day. The ideal candidate Certificate III in Horticulture/Parks & Gardens or similar (essential). 3+ years experience as a qualified Horticulturalist. Relevant experience in plant care and landscaping.
