This scheme recognises the role key health workers play in enabling the delivery of rural and remote health services, and aims to provide incentives over and above award entitlements, to attract and retain staff in these areas. Employment Type: Permanent Full Time Position Classification: Dietitian Level 2/3 (Dependent on Experience) Remuneration: $95,131 – $120,680 + Super Hours Per Week: 38 Requisition ID: REQ Location: Broken Hill An exciting opportunity exists to join a small energetic Dietetic team, to deliver exceptional rural health care in a specialised caseload. You will also have chances to grow your leadership skills and support junior clinicians. What You’ll Be Doing Provides senior clinical leadership and practice in the nutrition care in Renal, Oncology and Palliative Care areas with education/health promotion, counselling and nutrition support to outpatients, inpatients and groups within FWLHD. Travel to other areas within the FWLHD or telehealth services may be required. This position is actively involved in and leads quality assurance and service development within Dietetics and Allied Health areas. How To Apply To be considered for this position, please ensure you address the selection criteria in the application as thoroughly as possible: Post graduate qualification or bachelor degree giving eligibility for full membership of Dietitians Australia and Class C NSW Drivers Licence or equivalent At least 3 years post graduate experience in a range of clinical areas and evidence‑based knowledge of dietetic practice in renal, oncology and palliative care, with experience in outpatient, inpatient and community health. Experience in managing complex caseloads, working across different multi‑discipline teams and acting as a case manager/navigator. Demonstrated experience in providing a senior level of supervision to staff and/or students and resolving conflicts when they arise. Demonstrated experience in quality improvement, in planning, implementing, evaluating and reporting on services.
