Location Singleton, New South Wales, Australia Job Title Field Service Mechanics & Electricians About The Role Thiess is looking for Field Service Mechanics and Electricians to support maintenance of client fleets and Thiess sites in the Hunter region. Various rosters and competitive salaries are offered to suit families and lifestyles. Role Responsibilities Perform servicing, repair and maintenance of large-scale mobile mining equipment including Caterpillar, Liebherr, Komatsu and more. Mobilise and demobilise equipment from sites. Source technical information from reference manuals, technical bulletins, OEM and computer-based systems. Ensure good housekeeping standards are maintained. Carry out and assist with work order management. Work semi-autonomously where required. Contribute to a highly motivated and driven team. About You Proven experience as a Fitter or Electrician. Post-trade experience in the Mining or Heavy Earth Moving industry. Relevant Certificate of Proficiency issued by Training NSW. Experience with general maintenance, breakdowns, component changeouts, servicing and diagnostic troubleshooting of Heavy Earthmoving equipment. Preferred experience with Liebherr, Caterpillar, Komatsu large earthmoving equipment. OEM experience desirable. Current driver's licence. Valid Australian Citizenship or visa.
