Mechanical Service Advisor

The Ezy Group is seeking an experienced Mechanical Service Advisor to join our Moranbah team for an immediate start. If you have worked in a busy workshop environment and seek a change with a stable and secure career in the automotive industry, then we are very interested in having you join our team. Job Description Administration tasks including but not limited to - Monitoring, tracking and organising workshop bookings on daily basis Preparing quotes for mechanical tasks / rental car enquiries Inventory and stock maintenance Working closely with Workshop Manager / Branch Manager Communicating mechanical faults with customers Tracking, organising and maintaining administration tasks related to Ezy Vehicle Rentals fleet Invoicing and debtor collection Courtesy collection and return of customers General enquiries and administration Provide a supporting role for key personnel Up-selling our additional products and services In addition to the Mechanical position, you will also assist the Rental Administrator in creating bookings, preparing vehicles ready for hire and assisting with any rental inquiries. Attributes / About you You require a good understanding of team work and are competent in managing yourself when unsupervised. You can handle at times an unpredictable environment. You must be a quick learner without compromising attention to detail. Exceptional customer service and sales skills An outgoing friendly personality with a positive attitude Maturity and initiative Understanding of Cash Handling Procedures & use of EFTPOS Proven computer, numerical and literacy skills Ability to work within a paperless computer based scheduling & maintenance system Experience with Google Drive & Programs Good organisational & time management skills Team Orientated with the ability to work autonomously and be self motivated Focus, loyalty and commitment An ability to complete all tasks required as this is a "hands-on" position Have strong problem solving skills and be able to work under pressure Some Mechanical & parts knowledge background would be advantageous Exceptional grooming & personal presentation standards Excellent ability to move vehicles in tight spaces, reversing skills essential Manual Open Drivers License preferred but will accept Automatic license Own accommodation in Moranbah & reliable Transport to/from work What we can offer A competitive salary (negotiable based on experience) Superannuation Full Time, Monday - Friday Work hours Opportunity to learn new skills Working alongside a friendly, support team Staff Discounts About us Ezy Mechanical & Ezy Vehicle Rentals is a well-established, locally owned family business that forms a large part of the Ezy Group of Companies which has been operating in the Mackay, Whitsundays & Coalfields region for over 16 years.
