We're looking for a dedicated Kitchen Hand to be the backbone of our busy kitchen. If you're ready to roll up your sleeves and help us keep the ’Happy Day’ going for our customers and staff, apply today What You’ll Be Doing (Your Day-to-Day) Dishwashing Dynamo: Ensuring all crockery, cutlery, cooking utensils, and pots/pans are washed, dried, and stored efficiently and hygienically. Kitchen Cleanliness: Maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation throughout the kitchen, including benches, floors, equipment, and storage areas. Prep Pro: Assisting our chefs with basic food preparation tasks like peeling, chopping, and washing vegetables. Stock Support: Receiving and properly storing deliveries, rotating stock, and assisting with inventory management. Waste Management: Disposing of kitchen waste and recycling appropriately. Team Player: Offering general assistance to the chefs and kitchen staff as needed to keep service running smoothly. What We’re Looking For (Skills & Experience) Experience (Preferred, but not essential): Previous experience in a commercial kitchen or similar high-volume environment is a bonus, but we are happy to train the right person A “Can-Do” Attitude: You must be reliable, punctual, and willing to jump in wherever help is needed. Physical Stamina: The ability to work on your feet for long periods and safely lift moderate weights. Speed & Efficiency: You can work quickly and maintain a high standard of work, especially during peak rush times. Teamwork & Communication: You are a great listener, follow instructions well, and enjoy working as part of a close-knit team. Knowledge of Food Safety/Hygiene: An understanding of basic kitchen health and safety standards is highly regarded. #J-18808-Ljbffr
